ABOUT US
The Climate Watch (TCW) is a platform dedicated to advancing climate justice through climate journalism and responsive storytelling. At its core, TCW seeks to shed light on the disproportionate impacts of climate change faced by marginalized and underrepresented groups—particularly women, girls, smallholder farmers, fishers, and other vulnerable communities whose voices are often overlooked in mainstream narratives.
By amplifying these lived experiences, TCW not only tells stories of hardship but also highlights resilience, adaptation, and local solutions that deserve recognition. Our work is grounded in the belief that climate justice cannot be achieved without ensuring equity, inclusivity, and accountability in how policies are designed and implemented.
To drive this mission, TCW employs a strong focus on investigative journalism and the Right to Information (RTI) as tools to uncover gaps, inefficiencies, and inequities in climate action. By holding governments, institutions, and private stakeholders accountable, we strive to promote transparency in climate initiatives, ensuring that promises translate into meaningful action for the communities most affected by the climate crisis.
Through this approach, The Climate Watch positions itself not just as a storyteller but as an advocate for systemic change—bridging the gap between policy and practice, amplifying marginalized voices, and working toward a future where climate solutions are just, inclusive, and sustainable for all.
